Chris Janowiak

About Chris

Chris Janowiak is in his sixteenth year of teaching and his second as Associate Director of Bands at West Ottawa Schools in Holland, MI.

Chris is a graduate of Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Lipscomb University (TN). He is active as an adjudicator for the marching arts across the United States. In addition, he is proud to serve as the state coordinator and tour director for the Michigan Ambassadors of Music, a group of high school students that travel and perform in England, France, Switzerland, Austria, and Germany. Chris and his wife, Lindsay, live in Holland, MI with their two children, Elloise and Eagan, and their French Bulldog, Yoda.
