Dr. Barry Kraus

About Barry

Dr. Barry Kraus is Director of Bands Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee where he conducts the Wind Ensemble and teaches courses in conducting and instrumental methods. He has held positions at Baylor University, the University of Texas, and in public and private schools in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arizona. He is a regular conductor, clinician, and adjudicator throughout Tennessee and has served in leadership roles for the Middle Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Association and the Tennessee Music Education Association. Dr. Kraus is proud to serve students in Tennessee through a life-changing musical ambassadorship that expands world view and fosters appreciation for global cultures.
